Thinking about buying a homesite?
Before you make that commitment, call us! A Prestige Homes representative will be glad to meet with you on the potential homesite to give you an evaluation on the homesite and ideas about the proper placement of your Prestige home.
I already own a homesite, what do I need to bring with me?
If you already own your homesite we would be glad to walk the site with you to determine the best placement and to note any special conditions that homesite may have. Please bring with you any and all information you have about the site. Items should include:
- Topographical map
- Deed restrictions
- Any soil testing if available
- Architectural Review Board information if applicable
- Developer information
Will there be additional charges if we do not build on a Prestige homesite?
Well that depends on things like any soil conditions associated with the homesite, local building codes, house placement, lot restrictions etc. Each homesite will be evaluated on an individual basis and costs will he given to you based on the evaluation.
What makes a good homesite?
Many things can make up a good homesite. Items to consider are:
- Size - Will the house I want to build fit on this homesite?
- Improvements - Does this homesite have city sewer, water, and public utilities?
- Location - Is this homesite in a great school system, have access to highways, shopping etc?
